Erma Fink Kelley

KELLEY, ERMA FINK, May 22, 1926 – May 21, 2004

ROY, UTAH – Erma Fink Kelley, 78, passed away May 21, 2004 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was born May 22, 1926 in Downey, Idaho, the daughter of Charles and Polly Ann Gunter Fink.

She married McBoyd Kelley on February 3, 1945 in Pocatello, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on November 20, 1959.

Erma lived in Arimo, Bancroft, Pocatello, Idaho and Roy, Utah. She was a graduate of Marsh Valley High School in Arimo, Idaho. As a young married mother in Arimo she was a member of a sewing club.

Erma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as a Sunday School and Primary teacher. She worked in Relief Society, the Young Women and the Scouts.

Erma loved flowers, oil painting, making porcelain dolls, baking cookies for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and teaching her granddaughters how to make her special caramels, fudge and peanut brittle.

Survivors are her husband, McBoyd Kelley; children: Julie Kaye Dutra, Roy; Norma Lee Peterson, Stockton, CA; Boyd L. (Susan Dahl) Kelley, West Point; Ronald W. (LaFray Jenkin) Kelley, Plain City; Michael (Kathy Everton) Kelley, Roy; Patricia Kelley, Roy; sister, Laura Fink Mortensen, Murray; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and Franky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and sons-in-law, Dennis R. Dutra and John W. Peterson.

Funeral services will be May 26, 2004 at the Lake View LDS Ward. Interment, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho cemetery.
