CHARLES BRUCE PETT

FUNERAL THURSDAY FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Funeral services were held at the Nyssa First Ward LDS Chapel June 4th for Charles Bruce Pett, 72, who died June 1st [1959] at Nyssa, Oregon of a heart ailment.

Bishop Charles Mann conducted the services. Burial was at Nyssa. His grandsons acted as bearers.

Mr. Pett was born at Brigham City March 27, 1887, and married Anna Anderson at Logan. They moved to Arbon Valley to homestead in 1915. In 1940 they moved to Parma.

Survivors include his widow; six daughters and two sons, Taft Pett, Karen Sutter, Parma; Wilma Garner, Betty Hipp, Nyssa; Junior Pett, Mountain Home AFB; Kathryn Cox, Pocatello; Gladys Alexander, Los Angeles; Marie Swenson, Malad; two brothers; one sister; 25 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
