Former Malad Man Killed In Accident

Boyd Richards, 38, former Malad man, was killed in an accident Tuesday [December 22, 1959] while at work in San Francisco. Mr. Richards was employed as a window washer.

Funeral services are being held Thursday, Dec. 24th, and burial will be at San Mateo where he and his family lived.

Mr. Richards was born here Dec. 13, 1921, a son of Emer and Nancy Parker Richards. He was educated here and served overseas during World War II. He married Maxie Harris of Portage just before entering military service.

Surviving are his widow and three children, Kathleen, 13; Stephen, 11, and Jean, 9, all of San Mateo; his mother, Malad; a brother and two sisters, Parker Richards, Pocatello; Mrs. Gene (Dorothy) Thomas, Provo; Mrs. Fred (Letha) Richards, North Highland, California.
