Funeral in California for Charles Richards, age 72

Funeral services were held in Merced, California, this week for a former Malad resident, Charles Richards, age 72, who died Saturday [May 30, 1970]. Mr. Richards is survived by his widow, the former Emma Sage; two daughters, Elsie and Alice Marie; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Richards was raised by the late Mrs. Eliza Gibson, who was her cousin.

Relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Don Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Hales, Tremonton; Mrs. Jay John, Brigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Hughes, Sunset; Agnes Palmer, Aberdeen; Lil Archibald, Pocatello, and Elsie Thomas, Malad.
