BETTY MAE BARNES

Betty Mae Barnes, age 64, passed away January 17, 1987, in a local hospital.

Born February 22, 1922 in Malad Idaho to Edward Thomas and Elizabeth Jones Owens, she married Stanley J. Barnes July 19, 1952 in Elko, Nevada. She was employed by Idaho State Employment Services in Pocatello for 10 years. She held various positions in the LDS Church.

Her family includes her husband, Stanley J.; sons and daughters-in-laws, Kevin J. (Donna), American Fork; Kelly D., Bountiful; Steven J. (Leta), Bountiful; seven grandchildren, brother, Edward D. Owens, Washington, Utah; sister, Mrs. John (Bonnie) Owens Cheney, Magna.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m., at the Bountiful 12th Ward Chapel.

Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery.

Funeral directors were Russon Brothers Mortuary, Bountiful.
