HANNAH BARNES

Downey—Hannah Jensen Barnes, 89, Downey, died Monday in American Falls.

She was born November 7, 1894 in Hyrum, Utah to Olaf and Christina Fredricksen Jensen. She was reared and educated in Hyrum. She later graduated from nursing school at Logan, Utah, and received her degree as a registered nurse.

She married Leroy W. Barnes June 15, 1914, in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1915. Mr. Barnes died April14, 1971.

She had worked many years in the Downey area as a home nurse and also worked at the Marsh Valley Hospital. She was a member of the LDS Church and taught several years in the Relief Society.
