MALAD, IDAHO — Arnold Peabody, 58, died of natural causes July 22 [1967] in a Malad hospital. Born Oct. 12, 1908, Idaho Falls, to Isaac and Alice K. Evans Peabody. Farmer, Active member LDS Church, Scoutmaster. Survivors: brothers, sisters, William, Lester, Arthur, all Malad; Mrs. Urcle (Frances) Campbell, Thompson Falls, Mont.; Mrs. Earl (Ann) Cooper, Blackfoot. Funeral Tuesday 1 p.m., Malad First LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Benson Funeral Home, Monday evening, Tuesday prior to services. Burial Malad City Cemetery.

Funeral Services For Arnold Peabody

Funeral services for Arnold Peabody, 58, who died July 22,[1967] were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Malad First Ward L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop Conrad C. Alder officiating.

Prayer at the funeral home was offered by William Colton.

At the Chapel, Dee E. Williams offered the invocation and Jesse Dredge, the benediction. Speakers were Herman Miller, Bishop Howard Neal and Bishop Alder who read the obituary. Special music included vocal solos, Helen E. Jones, Eldon Corbridge; duet June Crowther and Norma Gleed with Myra Jean John as accompanist. Prelude and postlude music was played by Mae Williams.

Dedicatory prayer at the Malad City Cemetery was offered by Raiford Benson. Casket bearers were Gary Campbell, Monty Campbell, Tim Campbell, Urcle Campbell, William Cooper and Arthur Isaac Peabody.

Flowers were arranged by members of the Malad First Ward Relief Society.

Interment at Malad City Cemetery was directed by Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Peabody was born Oct. 12, 1908, at Idaho Falls, a son of Isaac and Alice K. Evans Peabody. He never married.

He was an active member of the LDS church and was a scoutmaster in the Malad first ward.

Survivors include three brothers and two sisters, William Peabody, Lester E. Peabody and Arthur Peabody, all of Malad; Mrs. Urcle (Frances) Campbell, Thompson Falls, Mont. and Mrs. Earl (Ann) Cooper, Blackfoot.
