Funeral Saturday For Mrs. Saulls

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Malad Third ward chapel for Mrs. Annie Jenkins Lundquist Saulls, who died Thursday at Blackfoot. Bishop Hu*ert **** officiated.

Prelude and postlude music was played by Melvin Atkinson. Other musical numbers were a vocal solo, Thomas Jones, accompanied by Blanche Camp; song, Merrill trio; solo, Leora Brown; Mrs. Mary Jones read a poem and speakers were Wm. Rutter, Joe Isaacson and Bishop Gleed who gave the obituary. Prayer at the home was offered by Clinton Mock; invoca6tion, Cy Price; benediciton, Sherman Larson; dedication of the grave, J. C. Sandburg.

Pallbearers were Sherwin Larson, Frank Jenkins, Jerry Richards, LaMar Bennett, Dean Bennett and Lloyd Jenkins.

Mrs. Saulls was born at Malad, September 10, 1896, a daughter of Eston Jenkins and LaVisa Lusk Jenkins. Reared and educated at Malad, she was a life-ling member of the LDS Church. With the exception of the past ten years at Blackfoot, she had lived in Malad and Pleasantview her entire life. She was married to Charley Lundquist June 10, 1914 and nine children–four sons and five daughters–were born to them. On December 25, 1944, she was married to Everet* Saull

Survivors include her husband, the following sons and daughters: Glen Lundquist and Carl Lundquist, Rivera, Calif.; Mrs. Norma Burke, Huntington Park, Calif.; Mrs. Erma Clausen, Huntington Park, Calif.; Ted Lundquist, El Cerrito, Calif.; Mrs. Betty Lucy, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Lois Merrill, Blackfoot, Idaho; Louis Lundquist, Blackfoot; Mrs. Stella Nordstrom, Bell, Calif.; two step-sons, two step-daughters, 13 grandchildren; following brothers and sisters: Houston Jenkins, Rexburg, Idaho; Louis Jenkins, Mrs. Martha Bennett.
