GLEED, ANNIE, (?) – November 27, 1941

Funeral services were held at the First Ward chapel Saturday for Annie Gleed, 55, who died at Blackfoot Thursday morning from cancer. Bishop LeGrande Horsley presided and the invocation was offered by E.N. Crowther. Speakers were Thos. W. Richards, O.H. Mabey and LeGrande Horsley. Musical numbers included a vocal solo by Thomas J. Jones, a duet by Ella Palmer and Maria Hunsaker, a piano and violin duet by Marteal Hendricks and Fern Willie and a vocal solo by Margaret E. Jones. Thomas D. Evans offered the benediction.

Interment was made at the Malad cemetery, where J. Guy Benson dedicated the grave.

Those from out of town who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Sheriff of Salt lake City, Mr. and Mrs. G.R. Moss and son Ray of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Gerghty and daughter Mattie Jean of Ely, NV, and Mrs. H.E. Adamson and daughter Betty jean of Los Angeles, CA.
