AGED MATRON IS CALLED BY DEATH

Funeral services are to be held tomorrow, Friday, 2:00 p.m. in the stake tabernacle for Mrs. Jess L. Thomas, 75, who passed away early Wednesday morning, August 26, 1936, at the home of her son, Josh W. Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas, the daughter of John and Sara Williams, was born at Scranton, Pennsylvania, April 11, 1861, and when she was but a small child, her parents came to Utah we=here they settled for a short time before coming to Idaho to settle at Malad.

On March 27, 1888 she married Jess L. Thomas, and to this union three children were born, two of whom survive, Josh W. and Dan W. Thomas, both of Malad. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. S.J. Williams and Mrs. Eliza Jones and three brothers, George, John and Joseph Williams, all of Samaria.
