Anna Isabel Line Jones, 26 November 1921

Anna Isabel Line Jones, 74, lifelong resident of southeast Idaho died August 26, 1996 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital after being admitted four days earlier. She had been living at the Taylor Homestead extended care center in Rose.

She was born November 26, 1921 at Sterling, ID, the daughter of Hugh Howard and Nellie Ann Colbach Line. She attended school in Springfield.

She later worked as a nurse and became certified as a licensed practical nurse. She nursed mostly in Malad, and later at the State Hospital South in Blackfoot.

She was married to Ralph Thomas Jones on April 12, 1947 at Malad City, ID and they were later divorced.

Isabel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Idaho State LPN Assoc. and the Malad Pinochle Club.

In her spare time she enjoyed softball, bowling, dancing, crocheting and making doilies.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph T. “Tim” (wife Carol) Jones of Malad, and Edward B. (wife Roberta) Jones of Beaverton, OR; a daughter, Mrs. Doug (Ann Julene) Inskeep of West Jordan, UT; three brothers, Hugh (and Katherine) Line of Folsom, CA; Ray (and Arva) Line of Fort Hall, ID; and Bruce (and Leola) Line of Aberdeen, ID; two sisters, Mrs. Santo (Mabel) DeGuillio of Sterling, ID; and Marie Whyte of Yuma, AZ; ten grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Howard Line, and by a brother and sister who died in infancy.

Funeral services will be August 29, 1996 at the Packham Mortuary, Blackfoot. Burial will be in the Springfield Cemetery.
