FUNERAL RITES FOR MRS. AMELIA THOMAS

Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Davis Daniels Thomas, 65, were conducted Wednesday in the Malad Second Ward chapel. Mrs. Thomas died May 29, 1949 at her home in Pocatello after a long illness.

Services were conducted by Homer Satterfield, Pocatello LDS Bishop. The prelude was played by Mrs. Keith Evans and the postlude by Miss Dankers, Pocatello. Speakers were Jos. Isaacson and W.W. Thomas. Musical numbers consisted of vocal solos by Keith Evans, Jenkin Palmer and Mrs. Dankers of Pocatello. Prayers were offered by Harold Jones and Ralph Harding. Rites at the cemetery were conducted by the Rebekah Lodge and Arch Harris dedicated the grave.

She was born March 19, 1884 in Malad, ID, a daughter of Samuel and Mary Davis. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of the Rebekah Lodge of Malad.

She had been a resident of Pocatello since 1915.

Surviving are five sons and daughters, David O. Daniels, Mrs. C.O. Thomas and Mrs. K.R. Thomas, Pocatello; Del Mar Daniels, Ketchum, ID; and Mrs. Karl Tintingee, Altadena, CA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
