Alice Thomas Davis, 90, of Malad died Monday, March 19 (1979) at the home of her son, Edward Davis, Sr.
She was born June 16, 1888 in Malad, a daughter of John L. and Mary Evans Thomas. She married Woodwell W. Davis June 10, 1914 in Malad. He died Oct. 28, 1956. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on Dec. 13, 1967. Mrs. Davis has lived in Malad her entire life. She was a member of the LDS Church, where she served in the Relief Society as a teacher.
She is survived by one son, Edward Davis, Sr. of Malad; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad LDS First Ward Chapel with Bishop Gordon Griffiths officiating.
Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
