Adelia Ann Davis dies November 12

Adelia Ann Davis, 93, died Saturday, November 12, (1983) in Ephrata, Washington, at the Columbia Basin Hospital. She was born to Henry and Adelia Barnes Wakley on November 12, 1890, in Downey. She grew up and was educated in Downey. On November 17, 1909 she married George Isaac Davis in the Logan LDS Temple. He died November 7, 1918.

In 1939 she moved from Downey to Arimo and in 1974 she moved to Washington to live with her daughter. She was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jean Fink, Ephrata; Mrs. Floyd (Zelda) Odekirk, Dear Park, Wash.; seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Elizabeth, six brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. in the Marsh Valley Funeral Home in Arimo. Burial will be in the Downey City Cemetery.
