Former Malad Valley Resident Died Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Elvira Morris, 55, of McCammon who died at a Pocatello hospital, Monday, March 21, 1938 will be held at McCammon Friday at 12 noon and burial will be in the Portage cemetery. A short service will also be held at Portage.

Mrs. Morris was born April 27, 1882 at Woodruff, Idaho, the daughter of Robert and Sarah Harris Green.

She was a resident of McCammon for 21 years, having been president of the YWMIA of the Neeley ward and an active member of the Relief Society of the Neeley and McCammon wards.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Morris and nine children, Mrs. C.B. Grover, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Eugene Preslar of Robin; Wynona Morris, Mrs. Ray Pilgrim, Mrs. Arch Brown, Joseph S. Morris, Jr., Nina Morris, Robert Morris and Ruth Morris, all of McCammon and seven grandchildren. Three brothers, Daniel M. Green, James W. , McCammon, and three sisters, Mrs. Green, Joseph A. Green, all of _____________George Moss, Mrs. Lucy Williams, of Malad, and Mrs. D.W. Morris of Portage, Utah also survive her.
