Alice E. Moon Pulley

DUCHESNE, Utah — Mrs. Alice E. Moon Pulley, 81, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Mott, at Strawberry, of causes incident to age.

Mrs. Pulley was born in Salt Lake City May 5, 1855, a daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Kemish Moon. The family lived in Idaho for a time, moving to American Fork about 1880, and to Wallsburg in 1885. She came to Duchesne, May 1, 1913, and has resided in Strawberry since that time. Her husband died March 8, 1934.

Mrs. Pulley was a member of the L.D.S. church, being active as a teacher and a member of the Relief Society.

Of her 11 children, two sons and four daughters survive: Joseph and Owen Pulley, Strawberry; Mrs. Mina D. Wall, Mackey, Idaho; Mrs. Datie Wall, Wallsburg, Utah; Mrs. May Rasmussen and Mrs. Carrie Mott, Strawberry. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, 34 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending the arrival of relatives.
