Bernice Leigh Williams, 86, died Wednesday, May 26, 1994, in Malad.
She was born June 24, 1907 in Malad, a daughter of Daniel T. and Bernice Jones Leigh. She grew up and was educated in Malad, and was a graduate of Malad High School. She married Lavour Williams January 29, 1925, in Malad. Mr. Williams died December 10, 1968.
In the early ‘60s they had lived in Los Angeles, later returning to Malad.
She is survived by one son and his wife, Doyle and Ardith, of Lake Elsinore, California, and one daughter and her husband, Durene and Henry Roderick of Honeyville, Utah; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel B. Williams, and a daughter, Judy K. Wharton, and two brothers Bryan and Daniel.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
