JACK TOVEY & WIFE DIE AT BOISE
Mrs. Jack (Arvilla) Tovey, 49, of Boise, a lifetime Idaho resident and a former deputy state treasurer, died July 6, 1954 in a Boise hospital after an illness of two weeks.
Mrs. Tovey was born September 21, 1904 in Paris, ID. She moved to Boise in 1938 from Paris and served as deputy state treasurer during the terms of Mrs. Myrtle Enking and Mrs. Ruth Moon. She was a secretary in the office of the Idaho State Pharmaceutical association at the time of her death.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jack Tovey of Boise, and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Rozzelle of Las Vegas, Nevada.
