Funeral Services For Mrs. Stuart

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary W. Stuart, wife of Evan Stuart, was held Monday, December 6, at 2 p.m. at the Second ward with Bishop W. W. Thomas presiding.

Thos. W. Richards, William Chandler of Idaho Falls, Lewis Williams of Boise, Dan Price of Samaria and Bishop Thomas were the speakers.

Musical numbers were: Violin solo, Mrs. Helen Ossmen, solo, Thomas Jenkin Jones; duet, Verl and Don Williams.

Prayers were offered by D. M. Williams and Thos. D. Evans.

Interment was in the city cemetery with James B. Jones dedicating the grave.

Mrs. Mary W. Stuart died Dec. 3 at her home of a heart attack. She was born November 7, 1877 at Samaria, the daughter of Ruth and Jeremiah Williams. She was married in 1917 to Evan Stuart, who survives. She was the mother of three children, all of whom are living, Mrs. Alice Christopherson, Jay Rice, Malad and Archie Rice, Sacramento, Calif., and the following brothers and sisters, Sam Williams, Max Williams, Bud Williams of Samaria, Henry Williams, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. John Rice and Mrs. Evan Martin Samaria.

She has thirteen grandchildren and six great grand children.

Mrs. Stuart was a member of the L.D.S. church and was a Relief society teacher for ten years.
