THROUGH THE DOOR
“I am not gone.” I hear him say,
Just up the road a little way.
But I am near you as before,
I’ve just stepped out and closed the door.”

“Just closed the door on care and strife,
And entered on a brighter life;
Where pain and death distress me no more,
I’ve just stepped out and closed the door.”

“So do not worry, do not grieve;
For someday all you cares you’ll leave;
To meet and mingle as before,
When you step through and close the door.”
