Josephine Strother passed away on May 7, 1994, at Fort Meyers, Florida. She was born on October 14, 1898, in Chico, California to Robert and Millie Jamison.

Josephine married Ruel E. Strother on Valentine’s Day, 1920. She and Ruel had one child Joanne. They made their home in Pacific Grove, California where she was employed by Holman’s Department Store for many years. Ruel passed away on October 24, 1964.

In January, 1968, Josephine moved to Malad, Idaho and lived there until December 1980, when she moved to Florida with her daughter and son-on-law.

Josephine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Richard Ennis of Fort Meyers, Florida; one sister, Mary Pacelli of San Francisco, California; two grandchildren, Greg Doster of Boise, Idaho and Mike Doster of Salt Lake City, Utah; and eight great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Ruel, two brothers and six sisters.

Josephine will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a remarkable lady and an inspiration to all.

She was buried next to her husband on May 10, 1994 in San Bruno, California.
