RUMSEY, KAREN FACER, April 22, 1943 – November 4, 2008

POCATELLO – Karen Facer Rumsey, 65, of Pocatello, passed away November 4, 2008 at Portneuf Medical Center following an illness.

She was born April 22, 1943 in Pocatello, ID, the daughter of Keith Wendell and Neva Mary Gleed Facer. She attended schools in Pocatello.

She married Dexter Crane in 1959. They later divorced. She married Gary Wattenbarger in 1962. They also divorced. She married Russell Rumsey on November 15, 1979.

She liked crafts including tole painting, collecting antiques. She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook. She liked yard work and gardening. She enjoyed water skiing, riding dune buggies when she was younger. She enjoyed the outdoors.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the LDS church.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Rumsey, Pocatello; two sons, Glenn Ray (Alice) Crane, Mountain Home, ID, and Dale (Lynda) Crane, Boise, ID; one stepson, Cody (Leslie) Rumsey, Idaho Falls, ID; one daughter, Keri Wattenbarger Johnston, Pocatello, ID; one stepdaughter, Kimra Orger, Idaho Falls, ID; three brothers, Norman (Norma) Facer, Anchorage, Alaska, Dennis Jack (Patty) Facer, Onyx, ID, and Rick (Margaret) Facer, Pocatello, ID; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, O’dell Facer and jerry Lee Facer, M. Sgt. Retired.

Funeral services will be held November 8, 2008 at the Alameda LDS Stake Center, Pocatello, ID. Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery, Malad City, ID.
