Twila Ann Harris Smith Rufenacht, 75, 193 Wayne, died Thursday, March 21, 1985, in Redding, California, following an extended illness.

She was born October 6, 1909, at McCammon to Pearl Eliza Davis and Oliver William Harris. She moved with her family to Arimo in the fall of 1926 and attended Arimo High School.

She married Morgan Jenkins Smith, June 4, 1928. They made their home at Arimo until 1943 when they moved to Pocatello. He died November 28, 1960.

She married William G. Rufenacht, July 25, 1967, at Reno, Nevada. He died December 12, 1978.

She attended Grimms School of Business and worked several years outside the home. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, needle-point and crocheting.

She was a member of the LDS Church and the Golden Age Club.

Survivors include two sons, Morgan B. Smith, Santa Monica, Calif.; Richard H. Smith, Lake Elsinore, Calif.; two daughters, Kathleen S. Hansen, Redding, Calif.; Sylvia Woeltji, Glendale, Ariz.; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Oliver Khalil Harris, Chubbuck; Edmond Dewayne Harris, McCammon; seven sisters, Theressa Bingelli, Mrs. Keith (Fern) McCardell, Mary Parkinson, and Theo Morgan, all of Pocatello; Mrs. Methan (Marjorie) Miles, Tyhee; Mrs. Vern (Jean) Smart, McCammon; Mrs. Dave (Colleen) Tewalt, Nampa; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Calvin Claude Harris.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 25, 1985, at the Manning Funeral Chapel with Bishop Raymond K. Hudson of the LDS Thirteenth Ward officiating. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
