Ray Rumsey, 52, dies from heart attack

Ray Burton Rumsey, age 52, Salt Lake City, and a former Downey resident, died of an apparent heart attack on the job at Park City, Utah.

He was dead on arrival at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Nov. 18, 1975.

He was born June 16, 1922 in Downey, a son of Orin Charles and Viola Mary Burton Rumsey.

He never married.

Mrs. [Mr.] Rumsey was a commercial contractor and carpenter; member of the LDS Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers and one sister, Arnold O. Rumsey, Glenns Ferry; William F. Rumsey, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jerry (Rose) Pince, Downey.

The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Downey LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Kenneth Williams officiating. Friends may call Benson Funeral Home, Thursday evening and Friday after 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery.
