Leo Dives dies Sunday
Leo Dives, 87, died early Sunday (23 Sep 1979) at the Oneida County Hospital.
He was born Feb. 25, 1892, at Malad to Veurlam and Annie Evans Dives. He married Guenifred Davis in 1915. She died in 1919. In 1921 he married Arvella Williams, and they were later divorced.
He was a lifetime resident of Malad where he operated a ranch and farm for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include one son, Cleon Dives, Monterrey Park, Calif.; one grandson and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 26 in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
