Davis, Jennifer_L. – 19 June 1944

Bountiful – Jennifer L Davis, 51 loving mother and sister, died on Sunday July 9, 1995 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. She was born on June 19, 1944 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Enos and Lillian Pabwena Pubigee. She married Phillip A. Davis and they were later divorced. She was a member of the LDS Church and on June 13, 1995, she took out her endowments at the Bountiful Temple, which meant a great deal to her. She was a formal Tribal Chairman of the Shoshoni nation, and also active in other positions. She was employed at the Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, and was very active in tribal politics.

She is survived by one son and two daughters: Phillip Davis, Jennifer Rae Davis, Phyllis Jean Davis all from Clearfield; two brothers and one sister: Leland Pubigee, Boyd Pubigee, and Helen Timbimboo, all of Brigham.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, at Petersen, Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. And on Thursday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Washakie Cemetery.
