Wilford Ralph Gleed

GLEED, WILFORD RALPH

Wilford Ralph Gleed, 65, Malad, died October 8, 1987 in the Oneida Hospital.

He was born January 28, 1922 in Malad, the son of Wilford and Agnes Williams Gleed. He was raised and educated in Malad and graduated from Malad High School. He also worked on the family farm.

He entered the Army during World War II.

He married Gloria Rees March 21, 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He farmed and ranched in New Canyon, north of Malad for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

He was active in the LDS Church where he served as Sunday School superintendent and was active in the High Priest group.

He is survived by his wife of Malad; one son, Lonny Ralph Gleed, Kaysville, UT; two daughters, Mrs. Lon (Linda Kay) Williams, West Valley, UT and Mrs. O’Neil (Denece) Schwartz, Pocatello; seven grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Merle Ladner, Ogden, UT; Mrs. LeRoy (Elsie) Williams, Clinton, UT; and Mrs. Jay (Alene) Bodily, Syracuse, UT.
