Wilford Gleed

GLEED, WILFORD

Wilford Gleed, 90, Malad, died October 8, 1987 at a convalescent home in Brigham City, Utah.

He was born June 15, 1893 in Malad, to William and Elizabeth McKay Gleed. He was reared and educated in Malad. He was a farmer and rancher.

He married Agnes Williams January 20, 1915 in Malad. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died March 5, 1964. He married Mary S. Williams March 17, 1970; they were later separated.

He was a high Priest in the LDS Church and served in many positions.

Survivors include his wife, Malad; a son, Ralph Gleed, Malad; three daughters, Mrs. Chris (Merle) Ladner, Ogden, UT; Mrs. LeRoy (Elsie) Williams, Clinton, UT; Mrs. Eldon Jay (Alene) Bodily, Syracuse, UT; ten grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two brothers, J. Guy Gleed, Provo, UT; Ern Gleed, Malad; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Mattie) Geraghty, Reno, NV; and Mrs. Robert (Pearl) Sorenson, Los Angeles, CA.
