ZINA WILLIAMS PETERSEN

Services Saturday for Zina W. Petersen, 84

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday in Malad Fourth LDS Ward Chapel for Mrs. Zina Williams Petersen, age 84, who died Wednesday at Oneida Hospital of natural causes.

Bishop Darrell Swartz will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery with arrangements by Benson Funeral Home.

Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to services.

Mrs. Petersen was born Dec. 4, 1889, at Alma, Wyo., a daughter of William J. and Sarah Jones Williams.

She was married to William E. Petersen Sept. 10, 1909 at St. John. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. Mr. Petersen died March, 1936.

Mrs. Petersen received her education in the St. John Schools and was a cook and supervisor at the Malad City schools cafeteria for 27 years. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church.

Survivors include a son and two daughters: William E. Petersen, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Mrs. Grant (Elvene) Haws and Mrs. Lloyd (Lola) Beeton, both Malad City; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
