Woodrow Wilson Clark (Birth – September 12, 1915)

Portage – Woodrow Wilson Clark, 73, died Sunday, October 2, 1988, at the University of Utah Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born September 12, 1915, in Malad, Idaho to Hugh L. and Sarah Zundel Clark.

He married Katherine John February 21, 1941, in Brigham City, Utah.

He was a rancher and sheepman and had ranched in Utah and Idaho. He lived most of his life in Portage, Utah.

He was a member of the LDS church. He served in the Army during World War II.

Surviving are four sons and two daughters; Mr. John W. Clark, Portage, Utah; Mrs. David (Kathy) DeGroot, Ogden; Mr. Hugh L. Clark, Tremonton; Dr. Jeff Clark, Los Osos, California; Mrs. Gene (Jean) Koford, Ogden; Mr. Ron Clark, Tremonton; sixteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Also surviving are eight sisters; Alta Clark, Mrs. Dale (Helen) Reese, Mrs. Farrell (Thelma) Daniels, Malad, Idaho; June Clark, serving an LDS Mission in Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Neal (Beth) Hawks, Mrs. Glen (Larene) Vaughan, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Don (Lorraine) Clabby, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. David (Anne) Peterson, Santa Maria, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 6, 1988, in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Don Clabby officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
