Wilma Zollinger
PROVIDENCE, Utah – Wilma Wells Whitney Zollinger, 86, of Providence, formerly of Mackay, died Oct. 14, 1992, at Providence.
She was born Aug. 18, 1906, at Logan, Utah, to Wells and Nellie McCarthy Whitney. She attended schools at Pocatello Valley, the old Brigham Young College in Logan, and Gardner Business School for Girls in Portland, Ore.
On Nov. 23, 1927, she married David Leland Zollinger in the Logan LDS Temple. They farmed in Providence and ranched in Mack-ay. Her husband died July 4, 1965.
She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Bel Cantos Choir in Logan.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Leah) Spraktes of Arco, and Mrs. Robert (Beverlee) Murray of Bountiful, Utah; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandĀchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were held Oct. 16 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan. Burial was in Providence City Cemetery.
