William E. Evans

EVANS, WILLIAM E.

William E. Evans was born March 13, 1909 at Malad, s son of the late David R. Evans and Margaret E. Evans. He was the third in a family of six children, two of whom survive – David E. and Darhl E. He is also survived by three paternal aunts: Mrs. M.F. Tovey, Malad; Mrs. C.J. Mock, Downey; and Mrs. Paul Miller, Los Angeles, CA; and by three maternal aunts: Mrs. Kate E. Jones, Malad; Mrs. E.N. Crowther, Malad; and Miss Annie Evans with whom he was living at the time of his death.

He was reared and educated in Malad where he spent his entire life. A member of the LDS Church, he was a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. During his early years he was active in church activities and was engaged in farming operations with his father.
