William Clyde Chugg

William Clyde Chugg, 79, of Malad, passed away Saturday, December 23, 1995 in the Oneida County nursing Home following a long illness. He was born March 31, 1916 in Providence, Utah, a son of William Duard and Lillie E. Fredrick Chugg. He grew up and was educated in Providence and South cache High School. On October 1, 1943 he married Ruth Williams.

He farmed and raised cattle and horses in Providence, Pocatello Valley, Ireland Canyon and Sameria. Mr Chugg had been active in the Malad Valley posse, and was a member of the Sameria Cattle Association and the Oneida County Fair Board. He was as elder in the LDS Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Malad; 5 brothers and their spouses, Dean and Colleen Chugg of Brigham City Utah; Duard Glen and Tyra Chugg of Providence, Utah; Boyd and Mary Francis Chugg of Centerville, Utah; Rex and Shirley Chugg of Happy Jack, Arizona; Mark and Jolene Chugg of Kent, Washington; 6 sisters and their spouses; Delmae and Clair Hovey of Kaysville, Utah; Helen andRay Lynch and Lujean and Gene Toolson, both of Bountiful, Utah; Alta and Warren Burton of Providence, Utah; Connie and Bruce Albertsen of Hyrum, Utah; Mary Beth and Larry Niederhauser of Logan, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 1995 at 12 noon in the Malad LDS 4th Ward chapel, with Bishop Wendall Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Samaria Cemetery.
