Wayne J. Nielsen, 42 years old, died Wednesday, at Churchill Regional Medical Center in Fallon, Nevada, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Nielsen was born January 11, 1947, in Malad, Idaho and had resided in Fallon for the past four years, moving from Malad. He was disabled, but had been a business equipment repairman and also a farmer. He served with the U.S. Army in VietNam and was a member of the American Legion Post in Malad.
Surviving are his wife, Cherie, and a brother, Rex, both of Fallon; sisters Joanne Redcloud of Hermiston, Oregon; and Louise Hess of Plymouth, Utah; brothers, Wallace Facer of Malad, Idaho, James Nielsen of Ely, Nevada, Larry Nielsen of Silver Lake Washington, and Donald Nielsen of Guam.
Funeral Services were held Saturday at the Fallon L.D.S. Church, and Graveside Funeral with military honors at the Fallon Cemetery.
