Wanda Hamson Misrasi

MISRASI, WANDA H. – December 29, 1920 – January 11, 2006

PERRY – Wanda Hamson Misrasi, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away Wednesday, Janury 11, 2006 peacefully at home. Wanda was born December 29, 1920 in Brigham City, UT, a daughter of Stanley and Gertude Younquist Hamson.

She married Thomas Misrasi on August 30, 1946 in Livingston, MT. They bought a farm in West Corinne and lived there for 27 years before moving to Perry.

Wanda worked at the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service for 23 years as an Administrative Assistant.

Her many hobbies included gardening, going to Wendover, oil painting, needle work, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Wanda is survived by her daughters; Betty Goodman, Malta, ID, Lois (Dean) Hereford, Perry, UT; Marilyn Perry, Perry, UT; Barbara (Dennis) Whitaker, Brigham City, UT; Patti (Bob) Winklesky, Syracuse, UT; Nancy Shevey, Layton, UT, sister Bernice Lewis, Brigham City, UT; grandchildren, Pam Schneider, Duane Hereford, Greg Perry, Kim Thorpe, Evan Perry, Stephanie Claybaugh, Brad Whitaker, Misti Nielsen, Traci Toone, Chris and Jennifer Shevey, and great-grandchildren, Aaron, Alyssa and Amy Schneider, Brady and Haley Hereford, Wyatt, Reilly and Jessica Perry, Shane, Jake and Savannah Thorpe, Breonna and Tyler Perry, Kade and Kort Claybaugh, Jaden, Jacob, Justin and Jason Toone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Bert Goodman, brothers Floyd Hanson and Delore Hamson.

Funeral services will be held on January 16, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Myers Mortuary, Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
