Marie Eliason Minson, 17 August 1917

OGDEN – Marie Eliason Minson, 84, died January 7, 2002, from complications following a stroke. She was born August 17, 1917 in Stone, ID to Chester Eliason and Jennie L. Cutler.

Marie married J. Glenn Minson in the Salt Lake Temple on May 25, 1939. She was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions including Relief Society president. She and her husband served four missions. She worked for Bonneville High School and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

Surviving are her husband and four children: Paul C., Marcia (Rick) Sutton, John D. and Lona (Gordon) Miller; 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Also surviving are a sister, Norma (James) Burnett; and a brother, Don (Carol) Eliason.

Funeral services will be held January 10 at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden. Interment, Malad, ID Cemetery.
