VIRGINIA MORRIS
Virginia Louise Kress Morris, 68, of Rockland, died Thursday, April 30, 1992, at Harms Memorial Hospital in American Falls.
She was born on August 20, 1923, to John Daniel Ernest Henry Kress and Mildred Mattie Hochmeister. She married Raymond LeRoy Morris on January 16, 1947, in Pocatello, Idaho. She enjoyed her family, embroidering, cooking and playing cards. She was a member of the Rockland Congregational United Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Melvin Morris of Rockland, and Dean Morris of American Falls; two daughters, Marlyn Wetzel of American Falls, and Vivian Charles of Rockland; six grandchildren, Rob Wetzel of Boise, Kyle and Debbie Wetzel of American Falls, Katie and Cory Morris of American Falls, Jared Morris of Rockland; and a great-granddaughter, Brittni Wetzel.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 2, 1992, at 11 a.m. at the Valley View Cemetery, Rockland, with Rev. Herbert Schaal officiating. At Virginia’s request, no visitation will be held. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Rockland Congregational United Church of Christ. Funeral services are under the direction of the Davis Mortuary, American Falls.
