Funeral Services held for Virginia Rand

Virginia Hubbard Rand, 68, died Friday, June 17, [1983] at her home in Arimo following an apparent heart attack. She was born to Alfred Cordon and Julia Ann Eames Hubbard on May 10, 1915 at Moulton.

She married Frank Patrick Rand at Dillon, Montana on November 11, 1944. For 29 years they owned and operated Rand’s Cafe in Arimo. She was a member of the LDS Church and a member of the Idaho Writers League.

Survivors include her husband, Arimo; a son, Cordon Eames Lee, Arimo; a step-son, Donald Rand, Brea, Calif.; a brother, David Fred Hubbard, San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Edris Sekor, Lapine, Ore.; Mildred Hillebrant, Pocatello; and Hazel Fae Strasrypka, Murray, Utah; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21, at the Arimo LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Loyal Bellon officiating. Burial was in the Arimo Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Manning Funeral Chapel.
