VICKI LYNN THOMSON DIES AT BOISE

Funeral services were held July 1, 1961 at the Malad Fourth Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Arthur Servoss officiating. Miss Thomson, age 14, died June 28, 1961 in Boise from a lingering illness.

At the home, the family prayer was given by Jonah Evans. At the chapel, Myra Jean John played the prelude and postlude and Joseph D. Reese offered the invocation. Musical numbers were a vocal solo by Helen Edwards Jones and Jenkin L. Palmer, and a vocal duet by Connie Dives and Lois Call. The speaker was Ralph Harding. Espy Thomas gave the benediction and Myra Jean John, Mary Louise Peden and Cherrill Budge were the accompanists.

Raiford Benson offered the dedicatory prayer at the concluding rites at the Malad Cemetery. Flowers: Relatives and friends, Dana Benson, assisting. Casket Bearers were Bob Bowen, Dale Reese, Bob Thomson, Ren Thomson, Roy Thomson and Ralph Tovey.

Miss Thomas was born January 12, 1947 at Boise, to Richard E. and Doris Bush Thomson. She was a ninth grade student at West Junior High School in Boise, and a member of the LDS Church. She had lived all her life at Boise. Her father died January 10, 1960.

Surviving are her mother and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Bush, both of Boise.
