Vernon J. Lamb was born April 30, 1930, in Plymouth, Utah, to Jesse Don and Bertha Lamb.
He married Edith Nadine Atkinson December 12, 1947, in the Logan Temple.
He passed away at home Friday, January 23, 2009, in Plymouth, Utah.
He is survived by his children, Linda (Will) Marda, Salt Lake City, Verna Jean (Mont) Wakley, Bancroft, Idaho, Elaine Hoesch, Elwood, Utah, Kenneth (Kristy), Plymouth, Utah, Nonda (Darrin) Hunsaker, Deweyville, Utah, Ronald Lamb, Plymouth; 12 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren,2 step great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Lamont, Don; and sisters, Joan, RaeJena, Donna. He was preceded in death b his wife, parents and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 27, at 11 a.m. at the Belmont First Ward Chapel, 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside, Utah. Family and friends may call Monday, January 26, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 South Main, Garland, Utah, and Tuesday at the church from 9 to 10:40 a.m. Interment will be at the Plymouth Cemetery.
