PRICE, VERA MILLIE HUGHES, September 20, 1909 – January 6, 2004

RICHFIELD/MALAD – Vera Millie Hughes Price, 94, passed away on January 6, 2004 in Richfield, UT. She was born September 20, 1909 to Thomas Mason and Margaret Elizabeth Price Hughes in Pleasant View, ID. She married John Williams Price on March 26, 1934 in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on February 22, 1940. John passed away on July 14, 1999.

They were living in Salt Lake City prior to purchasing the family farm in Pleasant View, where they lived most of their lives. It became a special place for them and their family. Their grandchildren loved spending time with grandma and grandpa on the farm. In her later years she moved with her husband to Richfield, UT to be close to her daughter and her family.

Vera was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in all organizations of the church with a special love for the Primary, and enjoyed doing genealogy work. She loved crocheting and had shared many of her afghans and special Christmas ornaments.

She is survived by three daughters, Priscilla (Wendell) Wiser, Bountiful; Shelba (Gary) Jensen, Richfield; and Jackilyn (Timothy) Neal, Layton. She is also survived by a sister, LaVeda Herron, Magna; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held January 10, 2004 at the Malad 2nd Ward Chapel. Interment in the Pleasant View, Idaho cemetery.
