Udar Jones
Udar Christophersen Jones, 83, of Malad, died Sunday, March 8, 1992, at Bannock Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 12, 1908, in Logan, Utah, a daughter of LeRoy and Violet Clossner Christophersen. She grew up and was educated in Malad, and married William “Bill” M. Jones March 21, 1955, in Malad. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She had been a housewife most of her life, and had lived in Logan, Brigham City, Utah, Boise, and Malad. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband, of Malad; one son, Joe S. Kunz, Salt Lake City, Utah; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Donna P.) Morris, Malad; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Varcel Christophersen; and one sister, Mrs. William (Jeneva) Evans, Logan, tan. She was preceded in death by one son, a daughter, and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon in the Malad LDS Fifth and Second Ward Chapel, Bishop Craig Sperry officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home prior to services. Friends are invited to gather at the church on Thursday at noon. Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery.
