Twila Ann Yearsley Giles

GILES, TWILA ANN YEARSLEY

Morgan – Twila Ann Yearsley Giles, 60, died June 6, 1982 at an Ogden hospital of an extended illness.

Born September 1, 1921 in St. John, Idaho to Nathan Melvin and Josephine Jones Yearsley. Married to Woodrow Giles, June 18, 1947 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church all her life, and had served in various ward and stake positions. Had taught in Morgan and Ogden secondary schools for many years, and most recently, had taught many years at Stevens-Henager Business College in Ogden. At the time of her death, she was serving in the Relief Society presidency in the Orilla, Ontario LDS branch in the Toronto, Canada mission where she was serving with her husband.

Survivors: husband, Morgan; sons, Kirby L. Giles, Fillmore, UT; Lewis Giles, Floyd Giles; daughter, Mrs. John (Korinne) Hullinger, Roosevelt; several foster children; eight grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Dale Yearsley, Joyce Yearsley, both of Orem; Mrs. Darrelll (Norma) Schiffman, Logan; Mrs. C. Perry (Elmo) Smith, Ventura, CA; Mrs. Phil (Theone) Rees, West Valley City; Mrs. DeVon (Ina) Daniels, Ogden; Mrs. Brian (Karen) Kent, Gooding, ID; several nieces and nephews.
