Snowville – Tressie Iola Daley Arbon, 76, beloved mother and grandmother, died Thursday, Aug.
12, 1993, at the Crestwood Care Center, Ogden, following a long illness.

She was born March 1, 1917. in Stone, Idaho a daughter of Harvey Virsel and Angie May Cox Daley.

She married Chester Arbon, Sept. 23, 1933 in Brigham City. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Jan. 16, 1975.

Mrs. Arbon was reared and educated in Snowville and resided there throughout her lifetime. She had been an Avon Representative, and Election Judge, and the Snowville Justice of the Peace.

She was a member of the Curlew LDS Ward and had served as a Primary teacher, Counselor in Relief, and a visiting teach. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters and their spouses. C Lyle and Kay Arbon, Snowville; Grandon and Jane Arbon, Blackfoot, Idaho Deann and Francis Lovato, Ogden; Ruby Bryant, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Also one brother, Virsel Daley, Jr., Blackfoot, Idaho; four sisters, Myrtle Marshall, Ogden; Donna Spencer, Syracuse; Lola Anderson, Logan; and Dorothy Mackey, Cleburne, Texas.

She was preceded in deah by one daughter, Sharol Wetzel, two grandsons, six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1 p.m. At the Curlew Ward Chapel, 75 N. 100 E., with Bishop Michael Morgan officiating.

Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. At Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home 111 N. 100 E.
Tremonton, and Tuesday 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. at the church.

Interment in the Snowville Cemetery. A special note of thanks to the staff of the Crestwood Care
Center for the loving care extended to our mother.
