Former Malad Man Died

Relatives in Malad received word of the death and burial of Tom Clark of Idaho Falls. The funeral was held Saturday at the Wood Funeral chapel with a member of the Fifth ward, L.D.S. church, officiating. Burial was in the Rosehill cemetery at Idaho Falls.

Mr. Clark was born Jan. 5, 1860, came to Idaho in 1869 with his parents, who dove an ox team from Kansas to Malad. He was engaged in freighting from Corrine to Montana in 1876. In 1887 he was married to Joan Thomas and to this union, one child was born. His wife and son passed away before he left Malad.

After spending a year in Missoula, Montana, he moved to Idaho Falls, where he was a painter. He later was re-married and has six sons and a daughter who survive him. His wife preceded him in death. He has 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is a brother to ——? Clark, who still lives at Idaho Falls.
