Tim W. Sorensen, 7 July 1940

DOWNEY – Tim W. Sorensen, 56, died November 26, 1996 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born July 7, 1940 in Malad, the son of Kenneth Christensen and Edith Wilding Sorensen.

He married Jeneane Christensen on June 27, 1964 in Arimo, ID. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.

He loved farming and ran a dry farm and dairy farm in Downey. He loved his family very much.

He is survived by his wife of Downey, four sons and two daughters, Patrick (Joni) Sorensen, Downey, ID; Shawn Sorensen, Twin Falls, ID; Susan Sorensen, Salt Lake City, UT; Christopher Sorensen, Salt Lake City, UT; Paul Sorensen, Downey, ID and Jaime Sorensen, Downey, ID; six grandchildren; a brother, Gayland Sorensen, Salt Lake City, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Brent and Terry, and a sister, Sherlene.

Funeral services will be held November 30, 1996 in the Downey LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop LaVern Brim conducting. Burial will be in the Cambridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home, Preston.
