TIM R. THOMAS, 27, DIES TUES., FUNERAL FRI.

Tim R. Thomas, age 27, died October 26, 1976 in a Santa Clara hospital of cancer.

He was born March 12, 1949 at Malad, a son of H. Ward and Helen Roghaar Thomas. He was graduated from Malad High School and Utah State University, Logan.

He was a certified public accountant and was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in San Francisco, CA. he was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his parents of Malad; one brother and one sister, Don Ward Thomas, Roy, UT; Mrs. James (Kathleen) McDonald, Provo, UT.

Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at the Malad Third LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Phil Gillies officiating.

B.L. Thomas offered the family prayer at the Benson Funeral Home. At the chapel, Gerald Thomas delivered the invocation. John A. Roghaar was speaker and read the obituary. Bishop M. Joe Davis was also a speaker. Leon J. Castleton offered the benediction.

Vocal selections were sung by Ren Dives, Connie Budge, Foster and Kathy Ipsen. Mary E. Williams played prelude and postlude music. Accompanist was Leon J. Castleton.

Concluding rites were at Malad City Cemetery where Rollin W. Thomas offered the dedicatory prayer.

The Third Ward Relief Society, June Ward, president, was in charge of flowers. Passing out programs were David Gilgen and Brad Thorpe. Ushers were Kelly Bolingbroke and Terrill Schwartz.

Casket bearers were Ross Thomas, Jim Jones, Reed Thomas, Dennis Omar, Mark Evans and Lon L. Williams.
