Services held Monday for Mrs. J. D. Price

Funeral services were conducted here Monday at Benson Funeral Home for Mrs. Theresa Irene Kelly (Tess) Price, age 77, who died Thursday, Dec. 2nd, [1971] in Oneida County Hospital of a lingering illness. Father Joseph Muha officiated and also said the Rosary for the private devotional service Monday evening for family members.

Casket bearers were grandsons, Russ Jones, Mike Jones, Kelly Price, J. D. Price, Pat Price and David Price. Members of American Legion and World War I Auxiliary and War Mothers cared for the flowers.

Interment at Malad City Cemetery was directed by Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Price was born May 26, 1894 at Lake Mills, Iowa, to Michael and Mary McConologue Kelly. She was married to J. D. “Cy” Price July 1, 1919 at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Price received her education in South Dakota and North Dakota schools and was a graduate of the Wenatchee Business College in Washington. A member of the Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, War Mothers, and past president of World War I Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Malad; a son and two daughters, David Kelly Price, Boise; Mrs. Robert (Ila May) Snell, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Ernest (Anna Lyle) Jones, Roy, Utah; 13 grandchildren and two greatgrandsons[great-grandsons]. A son, J. D. Price, preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1938.

MALAD, IDAHO — Mrs. Theresa Kelly Price, 77, died Dec. 2, 1971 in a Malad hospital of a lingering illness.

Born, May 26, 1894 at Lake Mills, Iowa, to Michael and Mary McConologo Kelly. Married J. D. (Cy) Price July 1, 1919. In Seattle, Wash. Member, Catholic Daughters of America, War Mothers of America. Past president of World War I Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors: husband, Malad; one son and two daughters, David K. Price, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Robert (Ila Mae) Snell, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Ernest (Anna Lyle) Jones, Roy, Utah; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 1 p.m. Monday at Benson Funeral Home, Malad. Private rosary Sunday 7:30 p.m., Benson Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday and Monday prior to services. Burial, Malad City Cemetery.
