MALAD – Terrie May Hughes Jepson, 30, of Blackfoot and former Malad resident died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1994, in Pocatello of apparent heart failure.

She was born March 18, 1964, in Malad, a daughter of Donald Chester and Wanda May Hughes. She received her education in Malad and at Idaho State, receiving an associate degree in computer programming in 1992.

She had resided in Malad, Pocatello and Blackfoot and had worked as a nurse’s aid in several area hospitals. She had been employed in Blackfoot at Wal-Mart since 1992.

On May 14, 1994, she married Leonard Ray Jepson in Blackfoot. Survivors include her husband of Blackfoot; 2 children, Kenney Hughes Tarango and Kenna Hughes Tarango, both of Blackfoot; 2 sisters and their husbands, Vickie May and Alan Beghtel of Farmington, Utah; Donna May and Shannon Spawn of Pauline, South Carolina. She is also survived by her parents, Donald C. and Wanda M. Hughes of Malad.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.

Deputies also responded about 6 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a woman having an asthma attack at the Flying J Truck Stop in McCammon. Terrie Hughes Tarango, 31, Blackfoot, pulled into the truck stop and fell out of the car unconscious, Nielsen said.

CPR was used to try to revive her. She was pronounced dead at Bannock Regional Medical Center where she was flown by Life Flight.

Her 13-year-old twins were with her in the car, Nielsen said.
