GREER, TAUL F.

Former Malad resident, Taul F. Greer, age 74, died November 5, 1978 at his home in Roy, Utah of a heart attack.

He was born on September 15, 1904 in Trade, Tennessee; the son of Austin and Alice Thomas Greer.

He married Mary )Mamie_ Hill on March 15, 1924 at Malad. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on April 27, (?). She died April 18, 1974.

He married Marie Bohman Talty on September 4, 1976 in the Ogden LDS Temple.

For 25 years he served as secretary and treasurer for Hod Carriers and Laborers Union. He was a High Priest in the Roy 2nd LDS Ward and had served as secretary of the High Priests.

He resided in Malad from 1911 until 1942 when he moved to Brigham City. He had lived in Roy since 1953.

Survivors include his widow of Roy; one son, Gene A. Greer, South Weber, UT; two daughters; Mrs. Wayne (Alene) Bullock, Fort Collins, CO; Mrs. Douglas (LaRene) Webb, Cedar City, UT; one step daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Bonnie) Capell, Boise, ID; 23 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
